You won’t be standing in front of your closet trying to figure out what works for everyone or what feels right the night before your family session. My client closet is available with pieces that photograph beautifully, and I’ll guide you so everything comes together without you having to overthink it.
There’s no pressure to have perfectly behaved kids or to keep everything “together.” We follow their lead, take breaks when needed, and let things unfold the way they naturally do.
That’s where the real moments happen, the ones that actually feel like your family.
You won’t be lying in bed the night before thinking through what to bring, what time to leave, or if you’re forgetting something. Everything is walked through ahead of time, so it’s already taken care of before you even arrive, and not one more thing sitting in the back of your mind.

Family sessions can take place in the studio or outdoors around Lynchburg, VA. The studio is calm and simple, while outdoor sessions give your family more room to move, play, and settle in together.
What should we wear for family photos?
You don’t have to figure out outfits on your own. I’ll help with styling so your family feels pulled together without looking too dressed up or unlike yourselves.
What if my kids don’t behave during our family photos?
They don’t need to be perfect for your session to be beautiful. I’ll gently guide your family with space for shy kids, busy toddlers, and playful little ones to be themselves.
